PS not displaying thumbnail images.

Have a few issues here.
Using most recent Photoshop subscription. Have deleted and reloaded Photoshop for a fix - didn't help.
1 - Isn't recognising/opening some files that were originally created in Photoshop.
2 - Not allowing me to save as jpegs - only a short list to include tiffs.
3 - When desiring to print a PS jpeg, the printer kicks-off/ends PS program from the laptop.
4 - PS won't display thumbnails in CLOUD
