Updated Photoshop to v23.1.1

I try to use (just as it have been for 18 years in CS and earliers) the Pen Tool and put nodes but doesn't create any linking line. It doesn't even show the location of nodes. When I drag the mouse left button pressed, it shows:

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Does turning on »Deactivate Native Canvas« (Photoshop > Preferences > Technology Previews) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, Paths, …) visible?

Dear c.pfaffenbichler,

Deactivating the Graphic Processor did not, but activating the Native Canvas solved the problem !!!

Thanks a lot
