PSD save crashes Windows and reboots PC.

PC crashes when saving PSD. Crash report only shows the PC rebooted. I can save PNGs without issue. I am current on Windows and graphics drivers. I tried different scratch disk, disabling use of graphics processor. This is a fresh install of PS. I have been using AI without any issues. I tried older version of PS and same issue. When I hit save it is an instant reboot without any delay. I dont have any issues with any other programs saving files. I have shut down any non essential processes but it does not help. Not sure what else to try.

I tried a compression option and same thing. Instant PC reboot. Puzzle me that instead of Windows catching it, and cloing the program, it reboots instantly.

If you change the save options, for example compression or no compression for TIFF, any difference?

I tried to look for detailed release notes and changes but no luck yet. Tyring to see what changes were made and maybe a conflict can be found.

Yes. I started with the newest version and it crashes. I tried several other versions and then went all the way back to 22.1 for it to save. Anything higher than 22.4 seems to crashe when saving.

Did you try upgrading to 23.1.1?

Tried 22.4 version and get same crash. 22.1 works fine. Not sure the difference in patches

PNG,JPEG are fine. PSD and TIFFs crash instantly.
