Question about Spark

I don't see a separate forum for Adobe Spark. I'm trying it out and using a template, where I want to replace the images with my own images. So I clicked on Replace on the right after clicking on the image, went to Upload Photos, and added my own. It went into the rectangle on the template perfectly.

Now, when I try to do the same again, the photo ends up floating on my page, over the template, and I'm unable to get it into the template. I hope this makes sense.

I may be doing something wrong--I've had a long day and am having some memory issues. Am I doing this correctly? Many thanks.
