Quick selection tool

Hello, I am trying to use the auto enhanced feature but I don't see it at all when I use the tool. I've tried youtube I've asked others and I don't know whats going on.

Your screen capture shows you have an empty color layer targeted the enhance check box and sample All Layers Check box in the tool option bar are not checked . There is nothing that will quick select and be enhances without the boxes checked. Remove the white Background paint on layers below your drawing.

Are you looking strictly for Auto Enhance https://photoshoptrainingchannel.com/tips/quick-selection-tool-auto-enhance/? It is not there anymore, now we have Enhance Edge which does pretty much same thing under different name.
