"Could not fill because there's not enough memory"

I was trying to make something in photoshop and i wanted to fill the canvas but I kept getting the same error. So I did everything (checked scratch disks, used the slider, etc.) However, I tryed deleting useless files of my computer and using a 4 tb drive and its still giving me that error. Am I doing something wrong here?

I was getting that error earlier in Photoshop. I had to change the scratch disk during a restart and that helped me. Have you tried restarting Photoshop while holding ctrl+alt (PC) or Command+option (Mac)?
