"Your Graphics Processor Is Incompatible"

Hi all

 

 My GPU support DirectX 12 but i see this notice from PTS 2023 (new update)

 

"Your Graphics Processor Is Incompatible"

 

I am on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 with DX12 and I'm using GTX660, this GPU support DX12,

 

Can you help me fix this !!

@Jack29722689wnws DirectX 12 is part of the Windows operating system, but you need a GPU that fully supports DirecX 12, your GPU has only a feature level of 11 and that's why your seeing the incompatible message

The way I understand this, is that "DirectX 12 support" means that the card supports the DirectX 12 APIs (application programming interfaces). It speaks the language.

 

But "Feature level 12" means that the card is physically able to perform all the functions in the DX12 specification.

 

In any case, the two aren't necessarily the same. A card can have DirectX 12 support, but feature level 11.

Hey there, I have the exact same issue as jack, and I spent hours on fixing it but no result, and I have already got the answer to it that I need a GPU to support directx12 

but could you please here show the solution for it 

ps: every expert has revealed the same answer and not the way to fix it 

so itd be helpful if you show the way

The solution to your issue is to upgrade to a new GPU/Video Card. Somthing in the upper nVidia RTX 3XXX series cards would work great. If you are having this issue on a Laptop, a newer laptop with the required GPU will be necessary.
