RAF File converter

New Here ,
Apr 04, 2016 Apr 04, 2016

I am using Photoshop cs6 and need a Fuji RAF raw converter plug in. I have already download the DNG converter but this only shows the DNG converter icon in the bridge window - I need to see the image contents for client image selection purposes. Where can I a RAF plug in? My system is completely up to date. Help please.

Hi garethgatrell ,

Which Fuji camera are you using?

Have you tried using RAW FILE CONVERTER | Fujifilm Global  ?

Check if your Camera is supported Cameras supported by Adobe Camera Raw

Im using the new X Pro 2. The Photoshop CS6 version I own, was purchased as an independent product outside of the CC service. I can see you offer a RAF plug in but it eem only on the Cloud service - Is this correct?

I love Bridge as my processing platform and wish to continue using it with the FUJI RAF files.

The Fuji X Pro 2 is on your list of cameras supported by CS6

The link for Raf converter is independent of the Photoshop version in use.

This camera was first supported in Camera raw 9.4 and it needs Photoshop CC.

Therefore the Photoshop programme cs6 which I ve owned and used solely for over two years is no longer usable with FUJI??? Does this mean I have to buy Photoshop CC or do I simply buy the raf converter? I need to resolve this asap.

This camera is released recently and Photoshop Cs6 is an old product. You need to convert raw images from this camera to .Dng , then edit them in Photoshop.

Have you tried using Photoshop Help | Adobe Digital Negative Converter 9.x

See Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Adobe DNG Converter 9.4 when it was supported first.

I already have the DNG converter but the images only appear as icons in the bridge window, which means I can not see the contents of each file, making image selection impossible. If I were to purchase photoshop cc from the cloud, would the contents of the RAF raw files be visible in the Bridge programme??

This is because Bridge Cs6 cannot read the raw Files from this camera.

With Photoshop CC you need not to convert Raw file to Dng, so it will show as an image thumbnail in Bridge CC.
