Random words appearing outside of text box, unable to edit

While working in photoshop, when I create a new text box or copy and paste one, random words from earlier in the project keep showing up outside of the text box as a part of the same layer. They're uneditable and hide when I hide the original text box, but I can't seem to get rid of them or figure out what's causing this glitch. Lent is the actual text box here, but the small renewals are not and are a glitch of some sort.

@default2f52oq47utc1 I've seen similar things before on Mac OS but with image pieces from previous not text. What OS version are you running and Photoshop specific version?
