Remove Background bug
Whenever I try to "remove background" from any photo, Photoshop ends up cutting out edges that are clearly part of the person I'm trying to cut out from the background. It has this weird issue with edges of anything I've ever tried. The only way to fix the problem is to "Select Subject", then invert the selection, and remove the parts that shouldn't be selected.
Why does this happen, and how can I prevent it from happening in the future?
I'm using Photoshop 25.2.0 on a 2019 MacBook Pro running macOS 12.7.4. I haven't updated to the latest version of Photoshop because the latest update that came out after February 16th (February 17th 2024) caused my computer screen to go black, and after that happened, I turned off Auto Updates for Photoshop and Photoshop Beta, so, unless anyone knows for a fact that the black screen issue that was present in February has been fixed, I'm unable to update to a newer version right now.
