Hi,
I am an absoloute newbie to Photoshop.
I am subscribed to istock and I can download EPS files with transparent backgrounds but I don't have a clue how to remove the 'transparent squares' so that it is actually transparent if that makes sense.
It doesn't have multiple layers or anything like that so I'm just a little confused. I have attached the file I want to use as an overlay over another image which is why I require the transparent background.
Can someone give me instructions on what I need to do please?
Thanks

To remove the colored squares from an .eps or .ai file, you need to open the image in a vector application such as Adobe Illustrator.
Once the layer with the pattern of squares is hidden or deleted in the vector application, you can save the image as an .ai file and use it in either Illustrator or Photoshop.
