Reset Standard Screen mode

Somehow, while just working on a file in Photoshop, I've messd up standard screen mode.  Im on a Mac, OS 10.15.7.  Now, my image isn't displayed in the middle of the screen.  Only a small portion at the bottom of the image is viewable.  And the very bottom of the window itself is below where I can reach and re-size it.  It is as if the default window size is larger than the screen?

If I go into Full Window Mode, the entire image is viewable again/ acts as expected, but when I switch back to standard screen mode, the image is way off the top again.

I've opened every other Creative Cloud app, and this is only happening in Photoshop. And It doesn't happen on any other non-Adobe app, so I'm thinking it is something/ some setting in photoshop?

THX for any guidance.

I think it is a bug.

I experienced the same issue after switching screen resolution to make a capture (from 1920 to 1280) … I found this way : changed the screen resolution again to 1920 and then the photoshop window appeared smaller and i could resize it to a minimum. Then went back to 1280 and it was OK to resize.

So I would say try to change the screen resolution
