I recently updated PSCC and now find I have two versions running: 20.01 and 19.1.7.
This has never happened before, the new normally removing / replacing the old.
A few days ago I got another update for both versions which I allowed to install.
Why is this and is and assuming only 20.01 is necessary....it safe for me to uninstall 19.1.7?
My PC runs Windows 10.
Hi
Adobe has changed the way a new version is installed, by default it's set to keep the old version, it use to be the other way around but a lot of people complained about it.
There are still some bugs in CC2019 20.0.1 so unless you're running short on space I would keep CC2018 as a backup

It is never a good idea to remove old version of Photoshop till Adobe fixes the bugs they released in the new Photoshop release. I have CS6, CC 2014, CC 2018 and CC 2019 installed. When Adobe fixed CC 2019 I will delete CC 2018, I will always keep CS6, and CC 2014 as reliable backup for the newest Photoshop version. Adobe keep adding features and make changes to current Photoshop do not put all you eggs in one Photoshop.

Not only is that not a correct answer, it's not even an answer. Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!
