Hi

If legacy compositing is enabled try disabling it and restarting Photoshop

Legacy compositing has been removed as of version 22. Any idea how to fix this issue now?
I get partial images left over when I move layers, transform them, or basically alter them in anyway. It does not affect the final product just work flow as half my workspace becomes consumed with previous images or portions that have been deleted. Also, when I attempt to resize a layered image, the bounding boxes do not appear unless I zoom out or in, then once the resize is complete, the bounding boxes stay even though the action is finished.

Hi, then, you can try to check "Deactivate Native Canvas" in the menu Edit/Preferences/Technology preview (Pc) or Photoshop/Preferences/Technology preview (Mac), then restart Photoshop.

It is used when the GPU you have is not powerful enough for the new compositing engine, or the drivers are out of date.

This seems to fix it for everyone but me. 🤷

I'm pretty sure Adobe arbitrarily hates me. 😮🤷😂✌️💚
