Set overprint on spot channels in Photoshop

Hello guys!

I’m preparing the illustrations of a book to print with direct spot colors in offset printing. Is there a way to define directly in Photoshop channels if they are to overprint or not?
I know how to do it with Indesign, but not on Photoshop and I’m not finding the answer online.

Thanks a ton!

Spot channels in Photoshop already overprint. If you need a knockout, you will need to update the channel mask.
