Why Adobe? Just why would you change this? It's been this way for DECADES. What is with this update??

In what context did you find this one, jthornton42?

Many shortcuts have been changed over time for many reasons—sometimes to make them more consistent with other Adobe applications; sometimes for other reasons. You can customized your shortcuts in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.

The one that was hardest for me to get used to was when they took away Cmd+1 to change to the Red Channel and assigned it to Actual Size, but I did get used to it.

Well, I updated Adobe CC this morning and Photoshop is COMPLETELY changed. I was a bit wrong in the above post though. I've learned that the transform proportionately, where it used to be done by holding shift, is now the OPPOSITE with holding shift NOT doing that. Backwards.

Add in the other changes/bugs I've encountered in just a few hours: can't see where you are highlighting text, transform tools that have no visible controls and more.

The thing is the shift modifier has always be the constrain key for tools.  Now for the Transform the constrain modifier key becomes the unconstraint key and messes their users  work-flow that use Shift to constrain  transform to the current aspect ratio.   Its the Adobe way to mess with the users work flow. Add a stupid change do thing backward do thing wrong. Like using Esc to commit error in text  instead of canceling the error before it is committed.  At least they  added a preference to let change that back,  Thus time you need to add a PSUseConfig.txt entry in your preference folder to fix transform.

Well I believe both ESC for text and Transform Proportional (by default) are the bees knees.
