Hi
Thanks to all who took part in last week's hammer challenge. This week we have a bridge over a ravine made using World Creator, Blender, Adobe Substance and Xfrog. What will you make with it, who will cross it?
The “rules”:
To download the image below at 3000 x 2000 pixels, with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun.
Dave

Wonderful render Dave, but what do you do when you get to the other side and how did they get the bridge over there in the first place 🤷

That would reach the steep path hidden in the trees Ged. As for putting up the bridge - bows, arrows and string 🙂

I love the old Fred Dibner videos, even if the quality is not great. Some of those overhang videos do make your tummy wobble though.

Not if you attach a long enough string to your foot

Quite a surprise, Dave, but immediately obvious now that you have pointed it out; some things are like that.

Two goats. What's that about? 😉
[Goodness. It's amazing some of the words the swearbot picks up on!]

Rope bridges make me nervous. This is faster, anyway!

Norman's express journey has competition then 🙂

I hope it doesn't start chewing the ropes when I'm halfway across Rista.
That's one giant animal on the far side though - bigger than a tree !
This is the model from a different angle - to give a sense of scale :

You are right of course Dave. I did try it at about half that size, but it became just a blob. Should have left it off altogether.

Rita, I have two on the far side, probably too insignificant to spot, except in full size. One of the difficult decisions.
