Hi,
After last week's complex scene, this week we have something much simpler, a Christmas tree bauble. What can you create with it?
The “rules”:
To download the image below at 2000 x 2000 pixels, with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun.
Dave

Did you use Illustrator for the lettering, @Stroofy Roo?

I see that room has a new picture on the wall since last year Dean 🙂

Yes Dave. I made a new version of the painting using a Pointilism technique:

And Dean, I can see that the koala has now obtained a permanent position, as bauble bearer.

I love it Dean. It has a touch of the Geds about it in a bizarre sort of a way. I'm seeing five birds and animals, but I am not convinced I have spotted them all. The koala is my favourite with the way it is sunk into the tree, but I love the Kookaburra as I won my camera club's shot of the year compo a while back with an image of a Kookaburra. I also like that you took care of the shadows with the SFTW122 framed picture.

Thanks Jacob and Trevor.
Trevor - you have spotted all the animals, a koala, kangaroo, kookaburra, cockatoo and platypus. I did have a spider last year's room. It is not in this one.
Here is my latest artwork (non-digital) - pastel.

I agree with Trevor, it is a clever use of the bauble. 🙂
