Hi
There is nothing like the freedom of a nice open road, and this particular road crosses the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors in England. But the scene looks a bit too empty. Can you bring it to life?

* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.

Jacob, Actually it's a training course for people who are planning to visit the US.

Haha - Don't give them ideas like that - they are liable to put a set of lights up there ! 🙂

My local town makes a big deal out of having _no_ traffic lights. When I moved here beginning of 2005, we hardly had any traffic, but we get the odd (very short) queue of cars now and again now. We can still drive from one side of the South Island to the other and only see a few dozen cars — especially right now with no tourists because of COVID.

I love how you have done this Jane. The chalk is almost perfectly overlaid on the road surface. Is it a straight blend mode like Lighten or screen, or is it Blend If? The perspective is really good as well.

Thank you, Trevor, and yes, to Lighten.

This might explain Jane : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noddy_(character)
I did use such a car in the SFTW41 crash helmet challenge 🙂

Dean, unless you paid the license fee to Ged, or his alter ego Norman, for the right to be bizarre, you could be in a lot of trouble, 😉

Thanks in advance to Ged for giving me the right to be bizzare. 🙂
I've just noticed a couple of mistakes, one in particular that makes it even more weird. Can you spot it? 🙂

Would that be the clouds below the horizon?

Dave - depend on how you look at it. Either
- The clouds on the left are go lower than the base of the mountain on the right.
or
- The base of the mountain on the right has its base in the clouds.

Does this look less weird? 🙂

Now the scene looks like Connecticut with the rock wall, Trevor, but is the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car or is the car driving on the wrong side of the road? Either way, I'm imagining it must be one of those new-fangled driver-less cars? 😊

Jane, I'm torn between this being a Tesla Retro vehicle that has moved to the other side of the road to avoid the Photographer, or the photographer stopped the car to take the picture. I think the latter as the steering wheel suggests this is a right hand drive vehicle. It all becomes apparent in the next frame.

Maybe the ultimately silly guess of what might (im)possibly be implied, Trevor: or the photographer stopped the car (and grabbed the gear and crossed the raod) to take the picture.

That would only make sense if the photographer was a chicken. But then again, if we use a selective Spell of Invisibility on the cloak,,,

The steering wheel is on the wrong side or the image is reversed suggesting the driver is using his selfie camera 🙂

There are a couple of old Ford Anglia's parked in Goathland, not far away from that spot, where Heartbeat was filmed.
