Thanks to Jane-E for bringing us the last challenge and to all who took part. This week I thought we should go somewhere warm and bright, so I bring you this tropical sea view. What will you bring to the table?
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
To download the image below at 3000 x 2000 pixels, with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun.

You'll have to wait a bit I'm afraid, cleaning up the ransom mess is going to take sometime, we have only gotten around to checking the PC's today in our hospital, we done 100 today and there's only 1200 or so to go 😒
"What sort of people would deliberately cripple a country's health service? "
I don't think the forum would allow the language I would like to use to describe those people 😊

Dean, most of the composited elements are from Dali paintings. The most work I had to do was making the walrus sit on the chair, which I did with Puppet Warp. While I'm at this, I'd like to give what feels like a rare shout out to the Photoshop team. The selection tools just keep getting better and better. It's so easy nowadays, that it almost feels like cheating.
I don't know who this Sensei person is that they have at Adobe now, but he or she is a genius! I've heard that he does workshops, but you spend the first two years painting his fence and waxing his old car

Hi Trevor. I have seen Dali's work and know about his Landscape with Butterflies. I hadn't seen the winged ship before.
Which selection tools did you use? You did an amazing job around the leaves, even if you were using the latest tools.

A little bit of politics, as Ben Elton used to say. There will eventually be more water on Mars than planet Earth.

Well it does look a bit warmer there than it has been in Scotland during May, so I can't blame him (or her) 🙂
I'll post a new challenge tomorrow (Friday)
