After the last corkscrew challenge I thought we should get out into the big outdoors for some fresh air. So this week we have a springtime lake. Can you place yourself, or anyone else in the scene?
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the image below at full size and with a transparent background, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun
Dave

Jane,
By the size and position of the largest balloon, and the other strange occurrences, I wonder: is this (the lake at) the rim of the earth (which stems the water)?

I like that Jane. Another album cover in the making 🙂

We'll lose all the water if you tip it up Jacob 🙂

Took me a while to see what Jacob did. Now I feel that the rope holding the boat should be tauter? 😊

Indeed, Rafael, and it will be tauter in a twinkle, when the tipping reaches the near shore and the water round the boat and the jetty becomes aware of what is happening.

I also took a while to see the change. Shows it was done so well.
Hope the water has risen enough for this lifetime.

Added a happy little shark. 🙂

It looks like the shark is posing for the photograph.

He might be about to sing. I "borrowed" him from "Wreck it Ralph 2."

I wish I'd had more time for this one. I love playing with water.

Euan,
"I wish I'd had more time for this one."
We are still in the furst, sorry, first half of this weekend.
And this quiet lake is begging for a display of whiffling.

I can see it now. Nice one!

That's clever. I have a vague memory of an app that adds movement to still images. Wasn't there something like that in a MAX Sneak Peek? Did it also add perspective movement, revealing what was behind the moving element? How was this one done?
We should have more video uploads to these threads. That lovely smooth movement and audio, and YouTube making it free and easy hosting them.

Dave, as always, your work is truly amazing. It’s so realistic.
