Hi
We had some great ideas shown in our last 'Gone fishing' challenge. This time we start with an everday object - a simple match. What can you make with it?
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the image below at full size, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun
Dave

A very nice render, Dave; or is your hand very steady when you let go in a twinkle, or is the end pierced by a sooted pin?
No path in the Paths panel?

Thanks Jacob, yes it is a render. As for the path, I can't make the challenge too easy 🙂

Also was still caught up with 163 but good to get going with 164.
Don't try this at home.

Does anyone else see the person walking through the flame in this?

My granddaughter saw it when she was here a week ago Dave. She outlined it for me and now I see it too! 😊

It's Rafael's chain reaction taken to the limit 🙂

This is my first SFTW submission, so I started with something simple.
I'm not at my computer that has Photoshop, so I did this with Photoshop Elements 2018.

Bob, I am afraid you are doomed, like the 18th flag, and like myself ever since Jane lured me into this in SFTW34.

Welcome Bob - nice job and bonus points for incorporating a previous SFTW image 🙂

Nice idea @Peru Bob. Great minds think alike. I looked for past SFTW images and actually started th same thing as you 🙂

One of the reasons I haven't posted here before is that by the time I get to my computer that has Photoshop, somebody has already done what I was going to try.

But you know you can activate Photoshop on two, Bob.

I do know that. The computer I generally use for the forum is a low-end Windows 7 Pro machine with 4 GB RAM.
I have four different computers at work that I use, and the only one that has high enough specs to run Creative Cloud is the one at my wife's desk. She doesn't use Creative Cloud apps and I usually only use her computer for backing up and maintenance.
When I'm at home, I have a couple of computers that have Creative Cloud apps installed.

A clever idea Bob, and it works perfectly. Ten likes in a day and a half is good going as well. Is this going to be the first upload of many? I do hope so.
