Dave is having a well earned rest this week, so for this weeks challenge we have a cone, what can you make with it.

The “rules”:

* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc

* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".

* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!

* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.

To download the image below at full size, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

I am not sure why, but this looks a lot better after clicking to expand it on my screen.  The unexpanded version looks flat by comparison.  I am sure Dag could tell us why.  @D Fosse

 We are having so much construction and traffic in our area, that this hit home, because we've had 4 deaths in a matter of 2 months right outside my development. Please drive safely.

Sorry to hear about the traffic accident.  They always seem particularly trajic to me, because they are usually avoidable.  Just a week or so ago, we had the worst traffic accident in ten years in the whole of New Zealand about ten kilometres north of where I live.  A family had been to a funeral at the far south of the South Island, and driven the entire length of the South Island before having a head on collision with a truck just three lousy kilometres from the ferry.  Seven of them were killed.  The van they were in crossed the centre line, so it is thought that the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
