Something for the Weekend - Part 173 - No place like home!

We had lots of imaginative entries for our last 'Coin' challenge, thank you to all who took part.

This week's challenge is brought to us by Adobe Community Expert @Ged_Traynor . He made it in Blender 3D and used Adobe Substance in texturing.

So we have the starter scene, Ged's dream house at dusk, what will we do with it?

I am not sure who can be flying Thunderbird 2 unless it is Brains or Lady Penelopy.  Actually, Lady P would be sitting in the back while Parker is at the controls.  'Hold tight mi Lady.'

Sometimes it's a fight to keep these below the 10Mb limit.  You have to make them ever smaller and reduce the colour depth, but this one has 70 frames and is 1500 x 844 and still it's less than 5Mb.  I think it is the large dark areas and smooth gradient of the sky that means it will compress well. Whatever the reason, Tracy Island was able to rescue some more people.  F.A.B. indeed!

Very good Trevor!. Great use of the pool and I like the way the Thunderbirds characters are in the house. Tracy Island at its best 🙂

If I recall correctly Dave, the palm trees are tilted over (as opposed to sliding sideways) to make space for a launch, but that would have taken way longer than a simple Tween, and I have a feeling that the trees move out of the way for TB2 and not one of the rockets.  That was one heck of a long time ago.

Did you notice the reflexion at the centre of the pool where she may be landing, Dave?

My water safety instructor training is kicking in, Jacob.

Because the pool has no steps, ladders, or depth markings, it may well be a shallow wading pool. A high dive requires water depth of 16 to 18 feet minimum, so the bottom may come faster than she expects. I expect, though, that you have a plan to keep her from winning a Darwin Award? 😊

Although refraining from shallow water diving awards (current record 37.8 feet/11.52 m to 1 foot/30 cm), she is quite capable.

Besides, as you can see from other entries, that pool holds hidden contraptions, obviously also including elevation mechanisms for depth, ladders, and whatever, and a decomprssion chamber of course. Remember who made the pool.

Indeed, Jane.

The top shallow water diver goes by the name Professor Splash; and the pools are able to bounce a bit. As far as I have been able to see the breastbone is the first to impact.

There is also the other kind of shallow water diving, from about 100 feet into a water tank with a depth of about 8 feet. It seems rather difficult to find anything about it.
