Hi
This will be our last SFTW challenge for 2022 so I thought we should have something seasonal. What can you make with this snowman? Will you change his location, give him a friend, have him 'walking in the air'.....?
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the image below, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun, and I wish you and your families a very happy Christmas.

Now that you've given him that nice scarf (looks a bit like my tartan Dave) lets fix that hat

I like the effect on that JEL. Is the snowman slowly turning to rock so that he will preserved through the summer ? 🙂

I glanced through images for forts in Texas, and the closest I found is in Jacksboro. Is that where you took this photo, @J E L ?

@jane-e no it's not in Texas. I took this snap at Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, Wyoming, which is certainly a fort of rest and relaxation!

Snowey reflects that his vacation to Florida was not such a good idea.

Ha Ha Trevor, I had a similar idea.
I live in Florida.
Well Mr. Snowman won’t be melting so fast this Christmas.
OMG, our temperatures are dropping below freezing!!!! 😲
I hate cold weather
Have a Merry Christmas everyone.
Busy here.
Family and close friends are coming.

It's been all over our news here in NZ with a map showing crazy low temperatures. -37°F in one place, but what hit me was below freezing in Florida. I didn't think ever happened. I have a buddy who lives near Toronto and he sent me the article below. We have heard of people being stuck with no hope of being rescued soon as the 911 responders are 'litterally' snowed under and can't get to people because of the stuck trucks blocking miles and miles of highway. I hope our people are all OK and staying home in the warm. Meanwhile, it's hot as here, but by heck we've had some rain this year! For us anyway.

Indeed, Dave, hopefully safer than Florida.
I know you recognize the far place. How about the arms/hands/hand forks?

I recognise the background but had to look it up - SFTW 122 Fly me to the moon. Was the arms/hands from SFTW60 Pots and Cans?

Exactly, Dean (I have the former as 76).
I simply used the parts visible behind the pot, just rounding the ends, hence the strange shapes.
