We had a lot of fun with our end of year challenge in the snow. So, for our first challenge in 2023, I thought we might exchange the cold snow for warmer sand and head for the beach. I snapped this particular beach, at Sangobeg on the North coast of Scotland, a few years ago. It is a lovely place, even if the temperature is a bit lower than the Caribbean. The question is - what can you make with this empty scene?

This one certainly makes you stop and think. I feel like I should know the context, or at least recognise it as being in the style of someone I should know. When I first looked at the Shivering Cactus Holodeck image I thought it might be a StarGate portal to another dimension. This has a similar vibe, but to a hundred years in the past.
I am following Taylor Sheridon's 1923 TV series right now, and those gentlemen could be characters from that reality. BTW I'd give 1923 a perfect 10/10! It feels like he is making Paramount so much money, they are allowing him to have the production values of a Bond movie. The Africa scenes are as cinematic as anything I have seen on a screen.
