Our last boat restoration challenge went down well - thanks to all who took the time to share their edits.
This week we have a salmon leaping at the Falls of Shin in Scotland. The scientists and naturalists tell us that they do this to spawn at the place they started out in life as small eggs. Of course, you may be able to show us an alternative reason for this salmon's leap...
The “rules”:
To download the image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right.
Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

Is it a waterfall, or the hair of the monster beneath? If the salmon has any sense, he won't hang around to find out 🙂

Hey, that's pretty good Jacob. It's way up there on the Ged Bizarreometer scale. Spot on perspective of the propeller as well.

Trevor, I forgot to follow up on the evolution theme started by Dave in connexion with the rocket entry by GC:
A really close look at the snout and not least the gill reveals that our salmon has taken evolution to a new level, from survival of the fittest to survival of the spittest,

James, I wonder whether the Wanderer is watching over the salmon(s) in the dark hours.
