Hi,
Thanks to Jane for creating our last, very successful, 'cracked bell' challenge and to all who took part and posted their images.
This week, we are off to the Scottish highlands and, in particular to Carrbridge. The packhorse bridge, built in 1717, is said to be the oldest stone bridge in Scotland. It was all but destroyed by a great flood, in 1829. So, 195 years on, I thought our Photoshop team could give it some attention. What can you do to bring it back to use?
The “rules”:
To download the image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

Still getting the hang of the forum - my file was too big, and I attached it, but it's not previewed in the post. Will do it better next time. 🙂 Here' s a smaller version.

Welcome to SFTW Don. I like them both, but in particular the view from inside the fridge works very well.

Saw it just fine. I just clicked on it to make it bigger.

I fixed the Jetty upload (but had to downsize to 4000 pixels wide), and sent Don a PM on how to avoid the smaller thumbnail (use the widget). I's lovely that more and more people are getting involved with the SFTW challenges, and it's lovely that the Community Experts program is growing. I do think that Adobe gets a good deal out of the program. Some of us remember when the online help team guys used to answer questions on these forums, and it was not pretty!

I made mine based on a parable of the greedy dog. Its actually called " The Dog & His Reflection" you can look it up. Basically a dog is given a bone by the butcher. He crosses a bridge and sees his reflection. Thinking this is another dog with a bone he tries to get that dog's bone and in the process looses his own prize.
Kind of pressed for time so my dog kind of looks like a cold air inflatable. 😁But I did manage to submit something this time. Took a few hoops to jump though but I guess this is how its going to be for a little while. Turned out pretty nice none the less.

I like the cartoon dog 🙂
One small thing, the reflection should be directly below the dog in the photograph. That's how the light rays would bounce on the way to the eye/camera 🙂

A modern refinement for the old bridge, Bob. Very clever! 🙂

Now that was an exquisitely entirely new angle, Bob.

Lot's of nice touches there, Mark. I wonder what the new bridge will be like after 300 years though :-

Why do you think it might get dirty... or not last? I'm sure they will come every year to Check it out and reinforce it.

Why is this in iPadOS? Who is the administrator?

@pjglad That is incorrect. It isn't in ipadOS.
I administer this thread and added Mac and Windows tags to the first post as tags are required. IPad was not added.
I also notice you have pasted the same comment in several threads, which could be construed as spamming.

A strange kind of spamming … what would be the point?
Or was there some payload the Forum removed automatically?
