Hi,
Thanks to Jane for creating our last, very successful, 'cracked bell' challenge and to all who took part and posted their images.
This week, we are off to the Scottish highlands and, in particular to Carrbridge. The packhorse bridge, built in 1717, is said to be the oldest stone bridge in Scotland. It was all but destroyed by a great flood, in 1829. So, 195 years on, I thought our Photoshop team could give it some attention. What can you do to bring it back to use?
The “rules”:
To download the image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

We've half inched the bell and with its clapper in the stream we have a lovely ringing tone created by the flow.

Haha - brilliant Euan, ringing the changes!

Oh, you combined the previous challenge. I was thinking of doing that but we'll see.
This one really reminds me of the act of dreaming.
I can imagine and bet that someone will do an obvious one but still cool none the less.

Will the archway hold though Euan?

Of course, only the best Scottish engineering here.
I mean, it's been standing since 1717!

You've thrown everything but the kitchen sink at that one Dean 🙂 Actually, I don't think we've done a kitchen sink yet, there's a future idea. I do like the inclusion of the old boat!

I was lazy this time:
Even if the result is OK, I doubt that my generative AI fill did follow my prompt. I wanted to insert a polluting industrial complex (AI did not allow for that), then I changed to “chemical works”, and this is the result. As always, generative AI is producing perfect results!

If only all chemical works looked like that ! 🙂

You reminded me. I meant to remove the cabin too, but forgot!

I really felt that the environment was too idyllic, so I fixed that. Modern times are arriving to Scotland, even that the “new” bridge needs repairs, too. It won't last as long as the old one.

Oh no. It is no doubt stronger than the broken bridge, but I hope a repair does not look like that 🙂
