Hi,
Well done to all you posted images in our last, 'vital spark', challenge. There were some clever interpretations of the spark plug.
This week our starting ingredient is one which may be more familiar to the cooks among us. It is a dried clove but instead of using this one for flavour we will use it in creating an image. What can you make with it?
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

Changing the colours to green and red hues works well to fit them with the rest of this image. Nice.

The clove torch looks good and you've done a great job with the glowing top beneath the flame. I do worry about him setting his twigs alight though! 🙂

When I posted the clove, I was thking it looked like one of those strange alien spaceships that Captain Kirk and his crew used to encounter. You've taken it a step on from there though, Trevor. 🙂

Is that a clove hitch morphing from an avacado? I am not sure which is the worse state? Cloves are designed to ruin a nice apple pie, and avacado is a slimy spread people with strong stomachs put on their toast. My Chris has a huge avacado tree that she grew from a pip. It spent a few months in a glass in the kitchen. Then she grew it in a large pot where it became pot bound. finally she decided to plant it in the garden where it went crazy.

Nice Avacado tree @Trevor.Dennis. I love them and usually have one every day. I planted a couple when I was living in CA - you need 2 different types A & B so they pollinate - like a Hass and Bacon variety. I also had a dwarf one, which just started to bear a few small fruit, but then we moved.

I like it, Henrik, particularly the way you've incorporated other fruit in making the rocket.

Nice one Trevor. The cloves make a good rope and you're the first with this, very literal, interpretation of this week's theme. Great job.
