Thanks to all who took part in our last 'Pi' challenge.
This week I was digging around in a components drawer and came across this small potentiometer, which is used to vary voltage, or current, in an electrical circuit. However, I know that your creative imagination can put it to a much wider use. What can you make with it?
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!

I agree, Dave.
Reading about such a pot I felt like one of the small animals in Farewell to Shady Glade, completely failing to understand what the old raccoon was trying to explain.
The aged look reminded me of a few episodes of Foyle's War so I came to see it as an elaborate release button with an alert.

The pot fits in well with the decorations on that chest, Travis. I like that you've extended the bottom of the pot to reach the bottom of the chest.

6That's a good fit Travis. A person could look at that and take a while to realise it was anything other than what was supposed to be there.

A sort of steam-punk necklace, Nikki. Don't shout too loud about it, they'll all want one. 🙂

This would be a good fit to use Cylinder Warp. Definitely one of the more useful additions to Photoshop in recent years. apart from the insanely good selections, Ai helped remove tool, Remove people and cables, and the aqueducts.

Good idea, Trevor. I had not thought of that. On the other hand, this crown is (in my mind) a collection of flat surfaces applied to a round band.

Hilarious! And a brilliant take on the subject! I can hear those 8-bit sound effects in my head.

Now that is _very_ clever fb. That subtle rework of both the invaders and canon are perfect. A person could look at this for ages and not recognise it was anything other than an original Space Invaders screen. Our stores had Space Invaders on a Commodore PET around about 1980. The storeman moved it away from the serving window, and it was a nightmare trying to get his attention. Of course, everyone learned about it, and half the lab would be in the stores queueing for their turn.

Brilliant! When I posted this week's starter image, I wondered whether anyone would be able to make something with it. I needn't have worried, the imaginations in this community are fantastic. 🙂

This is a winner, hands down. The pixelation of the "sprites" is icing on the cake.
