Hi,
Thanks to everyone who posted images in our 'Stoned' challenge. It is amazing what came from a few pebbles on a beach.
This week we have 'Electric Avenue', but not the Eddy Grant single from the 1980's (although you might have that in your head for the rest of the day). Instead, we start with a piece of circuit board. When I saw it I thought of a night view of city streets from above, hence the title, but of course you may see the same or something completely different. Whatever it is - post it here.
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

How big was this circuit board Dave?
I hope people appreciate what must have gone into getting it sharp front to back.
I could have gone on with this for hours...

Photoshop focus stacking I imagine - from my experience three shots would have been sufficiant 🙂

Trevor, you have it all going on there, car park, traffic lights, cars, buses, cyclist 🙂
You asked about the PCB. The bit you can see measures approximately 30mm wide across the front, and 35mm at the back, by 50mm front to back. It was taken with an Amscope SM-4 trinocular microscope fitted with a Touptek E3ISPM20000KPA camera and is a focus stack of 30 images, stacked using Zerene Stacker. Depth of field was very small on each image, 2-3mm at most. After stacking there was a bit of retouching, which is a real strength in Zerene Stacker.
I added the star flares afterwards with Noel Carboni's Star Filter Pro 4. I reduced the image size to 3000 px wide to post it here, the camera images were 5440 x 3648 each.

@fbeaume good times!
The first on the left (with a big hair) is me playing NES in my brother's game rental store in early 90's.
We had a NES, a Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) and a Super NES. at that time.
I spend many hours playing with my friends, play games on-line today doesn't have the same emotion.

Totally agree. Thanks for sharing your story tidbit. Loved your share! 💕😊
I feel the same way regards to spending time with friends physically and playing those wonderful games with them. I miss mine very much. It helped me cope in the past in complicated situation. So hard to deal with the world these days when all there is , is so much negativity.

I wasn't sure how the small animals would turn out, but they look nice.
FACT: Giraffes only have 7 bones in their necks, same as all mammals, incuding humans.

Night time at the zoo. I didn't know that about giraffes, amazing what you learn here.

I love it Glenn. It's like one of those post apocoliptic movies where nature has taken over the city after the humans have all become zombies.
Gen Fill was happy to put a dead human in the car (but made a dreadful job of it so I redid it the old way) but would not put zombies in the scene.

Yup that's abut right about the modern world. We already have lots of those. Looking for brains and even hearts in a shallow world.

Nice job. A well fitted overhead view and a breaking news story to go with it. 🙂

I like the way the bars (if they are bars) widen at the top and bottom as does their shadow. It fits well.
