Hi
The red public telephone box is a common site throughout the UK although there are a few less of them now than at their peak.
Some folk have bought decommisioned boxes and , according to Wikipedia, the sale conditions include a clause that the buyer "shall not install, provide or operate any form of electronic communications apparatus (as defined in schedule 2 of the Telecommunications Act 1984) within the Goods." So old boxes have become used as garden sheds, artworks, libraries........ anything aside from a telephone.
With that in mind, this week, I bring you a rather tired looking phone box. Actually this one is a 3D model I created and rendered, loosely based on the "K2" phone box introduced in London in 1926. What new lease of life and purpose will you give this phone box?
As always, anything goes as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc.
Anyone is welcome to have a go - whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.
There are no prizes - just the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun.
When posting back your edited images please use jpeg and downsize to 1200px on the long side.
To download the image below in jpeg format with ICC color profile (sRGB) and without the forum scaling artefacts , right click and then use Save Image As /Save Target As (or similar depending on your browser).
Have fun.
Dave

It's not just me!

I was able to post Pruitt's phone booth, but two other photos failed later. Three browsers, two computers, one iPad.
Microsoft Edge won't run on a Mac, so I've only tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

I'm puzzled - I've not had an issue posting images, either with the button or by pasting. Using Firefox on Windows here.

Last night I tried copy and paste with Firefox and got the Forbidden Image message. Then I succeeded (weirdly) with Safari. Why weirdly? Every time I hit paste, I got two images, so I deleted one. They showed up and I thought it was working until I hit Post, at which point they got a missing image red X. I deleted those and I took three new screen shots. I got the double images again, left them, and hit Post. The first in each pair became a tiny square of a missing image and the second was the image. It was late, so I left it and went to bed.
Yesterday morning I posted the phone photo here in this forum from my iPad without an issue. I've had trouble with the Forbidden Image there, too.

I don't have Creative Cloud on my iPad, just the free apps. I have still gotten the forbidden image there.

OMG! We've just been speaking to the decorators and they want to get into our computer room. Apart from the mammoth undertaking of striping out the computers and associated bits and bobs, there are two large bookcases, and truth be told, a lot of clutter. Even worse than having no computer for the next week, is that this little room is our escape from all the tradies, and on a day like today when it is wet and cold (we do get the odd bad day here) it's the only warm and cosy placer in the house, as the tradies are in and out with all the doors open. So some time soon, it's goodbye from me for the best part of a week. I can feel the withdrawal already. I might find room for a laptop, but every surface is covered with stuff.

I hope no one minds something unfinished - I have to go out of town, so I can't do the lights for each pane, let alone the cast shadows:

I don't blame you heading out of town, just as the Terminator has arrived 'in' town. It's a relief that you spared us the naked Arnie laying on the ground dressed only in lightning bolts. Or not, as in this case
