Hi
I noticed that it was 500 years ago this month that Leonardo Da Vinci died. Famous for drawing, painting scupting, invention, and science he was certainly imaginative. So I wondered how imaginative we could get with one of his most famous paintings.
Unusually - this is not my starter image but an image downloaded from wikimedia commons. What will you now do with it? Will you show us what she is looking at, put her in a new scene, replace her with some-one else, or something else entirely?
As always, anything goes as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to have a go - whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.
There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
When posting back your edited images please use jpeg and downsize to 1200px on the long side.
To download the image below in jpeg format with ICC color profile (sRGB) and without the forum scaling artefacts , right click and then use Save Image As /Save Target As (or similar depending on your browser).
Have fun

Trevor,
When Americans read 'The Fifth' they tend to think of Amendments and the right to stay silent, so perhaps ML would rather not say what is making her smile.
Right you are, of course, I never thought of that.
But she has no reason to fear the (other) four secrets plainly seen on the mirror (either), two of them being about us, two about proportions in the making by the mirrormaker and also relevant to us (including the very first work on an ISO standard).

And she has the steering wheel in the right side, in more than one sense.

Hi Dave,
Except it changed color and is no longer stationary — she’s driving pretty fast! (How did I forget Week 5?). It was the road and background that I was wondering about. Those parts don’t look like a photo.
And since I’m asking, I’ve always wonder about the pedals when the driver sits on the wrong side of the car. Or what you think is the right side. Is the gas pedal on the left or the right? And is the brake in the middle? Which foot goes on the clutch?

Hi Jane
The road and background is a photo from the Highlands of Scotland
When the driver sits on the right (and correct ) side of the car the pedals are the same as when they are on the left (wrong ) side. Left to right - Clutch, Brake, Accelerator (or gas pedal as it is known in some parts of the world).

Hi Dave,
I’m glad to hear that about the pedals. I’ve always thought I could probably switch sides if I were driving overseas, but I’m pretty sure I’d be in big trouble if my feet had to make a switch.
Nice license plate, too. She‘d be a fun companion on a road trip with that nice car!

Inspired (or uninspired) by real photos of the Louvre:
Not 100% happy with the composition but it gives the idea.....
