something wrong with color picker

What happened to the vertical bar displaying the spectrum of color in color picker? All I have now is a single shaded color bar, and the main picker window is showing a blend of 4 color squares (see image). I don't know how to restore it. This happened immediately after installing Topaz Sharpen update, 8/14/2020, their latest update. Restarting computer was ineffective. Win 10, PC, 64-bit. thank you

Thank you. Preference reset did not work. Finally uninstalled PS,
reinstalled with an earlier version. Updated graphics driver. Then, picker
OK. Updated PS to latest version and it was still OK. I think there was
some kind of conflict/corruption due to installing the latest update of
Topaz Sharpener filter.
