Spell Check in XMP?

I have to write captions for my photos.. is there a way to enable a spell check function for this?

In general, you can check spelling in photoshop by Select text you want to check then go to Edit > Check Spelling.

That will not work when you have XMP open

Unfortunately that feature has been requested many times, but nothing so far:

file management - Spellcheck photoshop document keywords - Graphic Design Stack Exchange  suggests copying them into a text editor with spellcheck.

Photo Mechanic also has a more robust metadata editor:

As you can see, there are no answers outside third party software.
