Storage full

Hi,

I have a question about the storage plan on photoshop.

Every time I try to use photoshop, I get a scratch disk/ storage full notification and I cannot continue working. It happens on different devices even though I have more than enough storage available. I have limited the history states, disabled auto-recovery saving, checked whether the new file I made was not too big in pixels, deleted temporary files, purged all, checked my Creative Cloud storage. In conclusion: a lot! But it seems like it's a problem linked to my account, since it happens on each device I work on. By now I have deactivated all devices, except for two. Can anyone help me out?

If that doesn't help, please post three screen shots

1. The Photoshop Scratch Disk preferences.

2. At the time of the "scatch disk full" error, please LEAVE THE MESSAGE ON SCREEN and post something showing the space used and free on your disk(s). (that is, how much space is there at the time of the error, not before you start Photoshop).

3. For the image you are editing, the screen from Image > Image Size.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. Right now photoshop isn't even able to open a new file. My computer keeps loading so I took the 3 pictures with my phone. The setting is in German, so I hope you can still find the information you need!

The big problem is your HUGE file - over 30,000 megabytes. You have chosen image size in cm rather than pixels, meaning you need over 10,000 times more scratch space. A common mistake.

...or possibly yet another victim to the "always 300 ppi for print" myth, which seems totally impossible to debunk once and for all.

Sacha, if that print size is real, you can use a perfectly normal file. You don't need this monster file that you have now.
