Temp files again

I know this has been talked to death but today I went to my Photoshop temporary files to delete them and the only thing I see is files that can't be edited.  Am I in the wrong place?  How do I delete these temporary files? Or any other Photoshop files that might slow me down?

If you can't delete Photoshop Tempxxxxx files from previous sessions (not current!), you don't have proper permissions to your user account. Maybe that's causing the crashes.

No crashes, just slowing down to the point that I have to re-boot.  Just wondering why those particular files in the screenshot won't delete?  If I don't have permission, who does?  Thanks.

If those temp files accumulate, there is some kind of irregular Photoshop shutdown. They will normally be automatically deleted when you close the application.

How much free disk space do you have for the scratch disk? If it's not enough, you will get slowdowns and in the end the application will shut down. Post a screenshot of Preferences > Scratch Disks.

You should normally have at least 50 - 100 GB free space. For big files you will need more.
