The gradient tool’s performance has deteriorated compared to previous versions. It frequently encounters bugs, making the original version a more favorable alternative.

As Ged_Traynor asked, could you please provide a detailed explanation of your issue, including your workflow with the Gradient tool and the problems you experience with it? When did you first notice these issues? Does it happen with specific file formats? If you're presented with any error messages, it'd be incredibly helpful if we could take a look at them. You can share the screenshots or screen recordings of the issue via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or another public file-sharing platform.

    Please share your system information as well. In Photoshop, go to Help > System Info, then copy and paste the contents into a text/Word file.
