I went to Edit/Toolbar and clicked on Restore Defaults and that did it!

Thanks, but I did that and even clicked on reset essentials and I still have a 3D dropper and 3D bucket.

You'd think that resetting Essentials would restore the defaults, but like you say, it doesn't.  Fortunately, if you normally work with a custom workspace, then restoring it does do what you'd expect.

If you work with just one screen, then it makes sense IMO to make the  most of it with a custom workspace.  You can also store custom toolbars and shortcuts in a workspace, so you can borrow shortcuts from other features that you seldom use, and switch back to the Essentials workspace at such time that you do need them.

Docking all those small panels on the side of the screen is a no brainer even with several monitors.
