Well, it's really simple. Here are my layers and my project. Nothing on my project that I click on will select and show a selected layer. So I can move nothing. Don't remember doing anything different, I was just working along when this happened.

I am working with many layers and don't recall deleting any of them. But I suddenly am missing an important layer and I've scrolled through the layers several times and can't find it. Is there a way that a layer can hide? It was important!

Thank you, c.pfaffenbichler. I went to Windows>Patterns and I see where I am able to add my Patterns back where I had them. But why would them all disappear after the update? It's a pain to have to spend the evening adding all my Patterns back where I had them! Thank you again.

I am adding patterns to layers as I go along. I gave up adding a pattern and just added a style. But Patterns won't work on any layer. Screenshot shows my layers with the styles on. No 2 shows pattern window whited out and un-usable. No 3 shows a normal window for adding strokes. I use the current version of Photoshop and just updated when this happened. There is no access to pattterns.

Well as usual, after another update, there are problems. Had to fix my curser back like I had it and I see even more things to re-set. But the worse thing is my Patterns. I have lots of patterns and when I try to open them the whole window is whited out! No way to load more or anything. Just a totally useles window with nothing clickable. Please tell me what has happened. Yes, I will send a screenshot if you need it.

Okay, I'lll try to explain. The first screen shot shows how the tabs/images are "stuck" together. The second shot shows how I want them to be. I can change it with Windows/Arrange/ Float windows but it just goes back to the "sticking together" as soon as I move an image too close to another. So is there another way in Preferences to change this to stay? Before the last update, it was like I wanted it.

Screenshots attached. I have tried almost every choice there but my tabs/images still won't stay apart. If I move one the slightest bit it will combine with another tab. Could it be a workspace problem? Or could it be fixed in Preferences?

Thank you, the hover bounds have been removed. 🙂 The free transform feature used to have a toggle button on the tool bar. Now we have to go to settings and click it on each time we need it. This was discussed in another thread. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-discussions/transform-controls-button-on-options-bar-missing/m-p/14632198#M15548 Now, can you please tell me how to keep my images from combining? I want separate tabs like it was before the last update. There must be some setting for this but I can't find it.

Trying to work tonight and I feel like giving up! My images/tabs are all sticking together and even disappearing on me. No matter how I set it in Wiindow/Arrange, it does what it wants to do which is mostly attach them all together like a magnet. Also, I have these little blue lines around everything popping around like a pin ball machine! Very distracting. Where can we got to officially complain? And please help me fix these problems. BTW Will the problem with the transform tool be solved soon? Bad enough we don't have an undo button, now no transform control button.

I have a 32 bit plug-in that I would like to use. I am using the latest version of PhotoShop, which, of course is non-compatible. Is there any way to get this plug-in to work? Any work-around , maybe?

I have always used photograph sizes for my image printing with no problem using Print shot Pro. You can print any size photograph you want. With Photoshop, I am choosing 5 X 7 and also choosing fit to paper size in advanced settings. But the preview and the resulting print out cuts off part of the photo. So after playing around and changing it to 8.50 X 11.00 I get even more chopped off photograph. Doesn't make sense for the 5 X 7 setting not to work.

I am trying to learn to print with Photoshop and I am running into problems. I previously did all my printing with Paintshop Pro. Tonight I am trying to print a photo on 5 X 7 matte photo paper. Twice it has printed the wrong size even though I chose scale to fit and also the 5 X 7 dimensions. Can someone give me some help with this and maybe a link to more help with printing different sized photo paper?

I always have trouble getting my gradient colors to change light to dark and dark to light.. I am attaching a screen shot to show you the window that comes up. When this window comes up how do you change your colors just a tiny bit lighter or darker without changing the color? I don't see it in the sliders.

I have found that my older psds are still showing the pixels numbers but not the ones that were started after I changed the setting. That's weird. But at least the current ones are not doing it. Thanks.
