Hi BarbBinder

My understanding from Hugo's first post was that some of his panels have gone off the top of his dual screen and therefore he can't use the mouse to drag them back down.

He has tried resetting the workspace but that did not help. I don't know if there is a simple way round that on the Mac (I use Windows).

Hugo my next move would be to change workspace back to Essentials (and reset essentials) then rebuild your dual screen panel layout from there.

Have you tried resetting the workspace. That will restore it to the state when you last saved it.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Are you crashing and getting the unhappy mac face?

Google Chromess_008.png

When you choose File > New, you either get the first or second screen shot below, depending on the status of the checkmark in my response above.

I must say, I still don't see that in the original screenshot. But thank you for the clarification. I do agree with you that it's time to reset essentials, rebuild the custom workspace, and then save it so that it can be reset whenever things go awry.

It seems to show on the right hand side of the screen shot - which appears to be the top left of the second screen.

Hugo - If I've picked up the wrong issue (it wouldn't be the first time  )   - please let us know

ok! Now I get it. I misread three words, totally changing the meaning of the question. I read the "top of my left screen" as the "top left of my screen". The only think I could see blocking on the left was the New Doc dialog box. Thanks for you patience with me, Dave. I think I'll go take a nap, now.
