unable to create and event in PS Organizer

I have created dozens of events in the organizer but today for some reason I go to add event using the + sign and it lets me fill in the form but the done box never highlights and I am unable to add it.  Is there a limit to the number of events you can have?

Nevermind.  I see that if I drag a photo into the add media box it will add.  Is that a new feature in 2018?
