In the latest version of Photoshop, you can no longer save photos as JPEGs.  Are you serious?  Who decided to delete this?

With Photoshop version 22.4.2 you can change back under the File Handling tab in Photoshop preferences

Enable Legacy "Save As".

You can still save as jpeg, but

there have been changes since v 22.4. See if this helps.

Yes, this is helpful, and I hope you will keep the Legacy option available; I still don't understand why this would be changed.  And I note that you give users the option to omit the appended "copy".  Why isn't there a similar option to omit the appended "-Edit" which is very annoying to have to delete on every photo?  And why can't we set as default that TIFF files should be saved in LZW format?  I now have to reset this on every photo, which is also annoying.

This method did not work:  there is still no option to save as a .jpg.

It might be worth starting a new thread, as this one is a couple of years old, and include stating your Photoshop version and OS and details of what's "not working".

This is basically a user to user support group. We do not work for Adobe or decide what features will be implemented.
