This was discussed heavily here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/svg-file-issues/td-p/11470812

A couple of additional notes - On the Cricut forum, users recommended flattening the image before saving as an SVG. It has to do with keeping your text editable in the original PS file before saving.

Do you have text in your file?

it was _discussed_ but not solved in that thread. Adobe punted helping, even though it's their issue.

It seems like the crux of it is making the image clearly all-black, all single color, without a hint of even slightly gray.

Depending what's trying to be done, I suggest just saving the file as a jpg, and uploading the image to cricut design space. I was able to do that and because it's a simple image, easily edit out the background. Printed onto black card stock to make a silhoutte.

Has anyone discovered a workaround for this problem? When an SVG is created using Photoshop, it gives this error in Cricut Design Space.

The easiest workaround is to save the image as a PNG and then upload it to Cricut.

PNG is a pixel-based image.  It cannot be rescaled to size needed without causing quality problems (distortion, pixelation, jagged edges.)

SVG is a math-vased vector graphic file.  Create or edit SVG code a code editor like Dreamweaver or a vector graphics app like Illustrator.

Photoshop is for creating & editing pixel-based raster images.
