Hi,

1) click the workspace switcher, the icon on the right of the search loupe on the top right of the UI, and make sure that you are using "essentials".

2) Normally, the crop tool is the 5th tool on your toolbar, maybe you switched to the perspective crop, or the slice tool. Click and hold on the 5th tool to reveal the hidden ones (or right-click) Shift+C repeatedly should cycle the tools.

3) it is possible that the tool is hidden, click on the 3 dots towrds the bottom of the toolbar.

The tool bar has completely changed after updating to 23.1... I am including 2 screen shots.  If I click the elips, the 3 dots, the 3 dots change to the crop tool and I can then see all of the tool associated with the Crop tool... but if I click off the crop tool icon, it changes back to the 3 dots icon...  I tried resetting tools, both options and didn't work... this didn't start until I upgraded to 23.1

This looks like the 3D workspace's toolbar, this is why I recommended to switch to Essentials first...
