Update to Photoshop CC 2019

Creative Cloud just updated Photoshop CC 2018 to 2019 and Bridge CC from 2018 to 2019. In both cases I now have 2018 and 2019 versions of Photoshop and Bridge on my PC. The 2018 versions do not show in Creative Cloud. Can I use my uninstaller (I use Revo Uninstaller Pro) to remove the 2018 versions without affecting the 2019 installations or is there something else I should do?

I would use Windows Control Panel rather than Revo.  It's too easy to remove too much with Revo if you are not extremely careful.

The installer may have remove prior versions of Adobe software when you installed CC 2019. I always use the advance install options and do not have it remove old versions.

As has been reported in many other threads here - don't uninstall old versions after a new one has been installed. File associations will quite likely break and not be easily restored without registry edits.

If you want to remove the old, uninstall everything in strict reverse version order. The newest version should always go out first!

Then reinstall the one you want to keep.

Yes Adobe uninstallers make changes to the registry that mess up changes users made or others iinstallers have made. The uninstaller thinks its backing out changes its Photoshop version installer made.  It can not cope with the fact that a user or an others application  changed a registry entry the Adobe Photoshop version installer changer even if the applications that change the registry is an newer version of Photoshop,   That the change it is making is wrong may even be invalid. It could be changing the association to  an application the has been removed from your system,   It one od the bugs that has been reported to adobe the adobe does not fix.  I stopped using Adobe uninstallers years ago.  I do not think the Adobe will ever address this issue.

I used Windows Control Panel to initiate the uninstall of Photoshop 2018 and I got the following (see screenshot)

Here's what I did:

From the CC My Apps & Services window I clicked on the arrow next to Ps to expand it.

It then showed both v 20.0.2 and v 19.1.7. Next to the Update button for v 19.1.7, I clicked the drop-down arrow and chose Manage, then Uninstall.

The result is a message (screenshot) that is about preferences (notifications, alerts, interface) and says nothing about uninstalling Ps CC 2018.

Now I'm confused. How do I uninstall Ps CC 2018?

Well, would you like to remove preferences? Just decide which one, and the uninstall will proceed.

FYI, preferences are kept separate from the program files, they are under your user account. So if you later reinstall, your settings would still be intact if you keep them.

I'd like to repeat my warning above. If you uninstall v19 and leave v20, you may wake up to find your file associations orphaned with no easy way to restore them. The safe procedure here is to first uninstall v20, then uninstall v19, then reinstall v20. Last in, first out.

No, I don't like it any more than anyone else, but that's what can happen.
