Recently erased and reinstalled MacOS Sierra on 2015 imac; need to  install/use current Photoshop and Lightroom creative cloud apps.  With so many updates and conflicts...what version of mac OS seems to work best with least issues with current Photoshop and Lightroom apps?  Since I'm currently only on Sierra (10.12.6).....I need to update OS to use my creativer cloud apps but don't need any additional software conflicts....any experienced folks with an answer?  thanks.

I would go with the minimum: MacOS 10.15.7 Catalina

All 32 bit apps you own will not be able to run under Catalina, so uninstall those before you upgrade. I havn't had problems with Catalina running  it on a mid 2012 Macbook Pro. Catalina would be my choice for a safe bet.

If you wish to upgrade to 11.6.2  or Big Sur, read this first:
