using spot healing brush unable to remove ear rings

Hi

 

am trying to remove ear rings from the input image.

 

Initially tried with "Content Aware fill" but no luck

Later on tried with "Spot Healing Brush" but the output is not as expected (attached). pls suggest  am i missing anything

That's impressive Bojan.  I tried Gen Fill right up front but got horrible results so I started rebuilding it bit by bit.

I'd got this far with a fair bit of (old school) work and a bunch of layers

Then I saw your post and thought I could try Gen Fill to do that lat little bit, and it worked. 

(This one is the same resolution as the original.)

I have just a bit more luck with Generative Fill and prompt: "remove ear rings and fill". Experiment with generative Fill prompts is my suggestion.

Here is another prompt, version nmb 3, you can see prompt text as layer name in the Layers panel.

A weird thing I sometimes see with Generative Fill is one of those nasty orange error messages pops up, but when I close it, Gen Fill has still done a perfect job.  It only gave one result mind.  

 

Oh, and btw, I was struggling to find a suitable stock image, so a good part of the lady's uppermost thumb is actually my wife's.  How creepy is that?!  😉
