Using Topaz Gigapixel AI as part of action

I'm new to actions, so wondering if someone can help?

I'm trying to set one up where I resize a picture with Topaz Gigapixel AI, which I have installed as a plug-in in PS in my automate section.

The action opens the picture and the software and converts the image but doesn't exit the software taking me back to ps. It's possibly something PS can't do, but I'm wondering if anyone has had success using it this way?

Just trying again. it's the "Apply" button on Topaz that the action fails to click.

So this is not a Filter but a separate application that is being raised?

If so I see no option how Photoshop Actions could commandeer the other program.

It's separate but it's part of automate in PS. The action opens Topaz externally but doesn't do anything after that.

Photoshop Actions are intended to work in Photoshop, not Topaz software.
